Dr. Moniatis is german and swiss board-certified Anesthesiologist and pain management specialist, he trained and worked in renowned University Hospitals in Germany, Switzerland and Canada.

During his training and work for more 24 years abroad, he was equipped with valuable experience and skills, which he is excited to bring back to his home country Cyprus while at the same time still working as an independent consultant in Switzerland.

He graduated from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary and then completed his 5-year Anesthesiology residency training at the Eberhard Karls University Hospital of Tübingen, Germany.

He worked as a consultant at the University Hospital Tübingen, Germany before undergoing further 2 year full time hands-on subspecialty pain training in accredited PGME Clinical pain fellowships at the University of Toronto and at the University of Manitoba in Canada. After completing his 2 year Canadian pain fellowships, he was appointed as senior consultant (Oberarzt) in interventional pain management and Anesthesiology at the University Hospital of Zurich , Switzerland for a period of 3 years.

After a brief period as director of pain management at the German Oncology Center he decided to establish his own private practise in his home town Limassol called Swiss Pain Clinic and Anesthesiology partners offering individualised services in both Pain Management and Anesthesiology under the latest international guidelines.
